Aimee Carrero is a Dominican Republic native American voice actress and actor. She is most well-known for being Angie Prietto on the Cartoon Network Live Action Show Level Up. In the ABC Family/Freeform series Young & Hungry and Young & Foodies from 2014-2018, she appeared as Sofia Rodriguez. She voiced She Ra in DreamWorks the animated show She-Ra And The Princesses of Power on Netflix from 2018 to 2020. Carrero and actor Tim Rock were engaged in November of 2015. They got married on August 16, 2016. The actress voiced Elena The princess of Avalor in Sofia the First, a spinoff from the series. She also played Tasha and Mia respectively in "Skater Girl Island" and a segment from Hannah Montana. She was Sylvia Torres on Lincoln Heights on ABC Family and Sydney on Baby Daddy. Sasha Allen, the openly-transgender female transgender singer who made it to the Live Shows of The Voice was a landmark when they got there. It was the first time within the 21 years of Voice competitions that Sasha was able to get past to the Battle Rounds. They are now the two of Newtown, Conn., is taking it a step further into the Top 8! Sasha revealed that he was transgender at the time they announced their auditions at the Blind Auditions.
